Manipulating the Term "Equality"
and the Queer Game of Chicken

There's an old saying:  "He who controls the language, controls the debate."  Don't believe me?

In 2011, a Reuters NPR poll found that 59 percent of Americans believed abortion was wrong.  Another Gallup poll that same year found that 61 percent of American adults believed abortion is wrong.  Yet abortion continues to be legal throughout America and we keep electing politicians who support abortion rights.   There are many reasons why pro-abortion leaders continue to hold sway, but one of the main reasons is that they won the battle for the language in the debate.  No one ever says that they are pro-abortion.  That's too bloody and too controversial.  The leaders of the pro-abortion movement found that it was better to just be "pro-choice".  Who could be against choice?  That's downright un-American!

It's a testament to how little we probe ideas anymore, since so few people follow this to it's logical conclusion:  Killing an innocent baby is now a "choice".

If you listen to the current social debate on homosexual marriage, the same thing is happening all over again:  None of the proponents of this new "right" dares say "Gay Marriage".  No, it's now been cloaked in the star-spangled fuzziness of "Marriage Equality".

Think about it for a moment:  Marriage Equality.  What does that mean?  It means many things for those who buy into it:

•  Marriage is not a sacrament

•  Marriage is just a social construct that can be changed

•  Marriage isn't for begetting children

•  Marriage isn't for raising children

•  Marriage can take place between ANY two (or more) entities.

That last one should really make you think.  If marriage should be an equal rights issue, then what is to stop people from marrying animals?  If you think that's over-the-top, there are already people on record who insist that they have marital relationships with animals and others who share the same view of inanimate objects.

So, in a startling show of sanity (and faith) Chick-Fil-A's president, Dan Cathy (above) has exercised his First Amendment right to speak out on this issue.  He may be a Bible-thumping, down-yonder Fundamentalist, but he at least makes his decisions based on the Bible, not on some vague notion of "What Would Jesus Do?"  And what did the Bible tell him?  The same thing it tells all of us, no less than 7 times:  Homosexuality is offensive to God.  It is a sin that cries out to heaven for vengeance.

That's true for ALL Christians whether they are Catholics, High Church Anglicans, Methodists, Southern Baptists or Pentecostals.

Back to Mr. Cathy...he is being demonized by the liberal press and by the Gay Gestapo.  Not because he has condemned Gay people (he hasn't).  Not because he refuses to serve or hire Gay people (he doesn't refuse anyone).  No, his crime was simply saying that he refuses to support Gay marriage.  And he also donates to organizations that oppose Gay Marriage.

Imagine that!  A 21st century man who actually follows the dictates of his professed faith!

Predictably, leaders of "progressive" cities like Chicago and San Francisco have let it be known that Mr. Cathy is not welcome in their respective towns.

These are hard times for businessmen who recognize that there is no "marriage equality".

It doesn't matter if you like Chicken sandwiches or not or whether you are a Catholic or a member of Jimmy Swaggart's church:  This man deserves your prayers and support.

Wednesday is Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day.  Go buy a chicken sandwich and let the folks behind the counter know why you came.  And pray that more of our Catholic leaders find the same kind of courage that Mr. Cathy has shown.

Finally, you need to correct anyone who uses the term "Marriage Equality".  There is nothing equal about marriages based on mere animal attraction that have no possibility of creating new life or sustaining a family that can grow in faith.

If we don't shut down this whole "Marriage Equality" myth now, your children will be invited to ceremonies where polygamies and bestial relationships will be recognized by the state.  Is that really what you want?

Like a Pagan

Madonna's schtick is getting old.  Shock and outrage can only go so far before it becomes just plain offensive.  Nowhere is that more clear than in her live performances where she has resorted to exposing herself, using foul language, and having strange interactions with her audience.  Not that such antics are all that unusual anymore, but Madonna is a pioneer of such unbridled-adolescent-acting-out-as-entertainment fare.

Now she is picking on Pope Benedict.  While performing  a song called "Nobody Knows Me" (does anyone really listen to this stuff?) a song dedicated to homosexuals who are "persecuted", she shows video of anti-gay protesters, then a video of her own face changing into the pope's with anti-gay protesters flanking them on both sides, then various shots of young homosexuals who have committed suicide.

The message?  It's pretty clear.  She is tying the pope to "hate speech" because he supports natural law and will not give approval to homosexual marriage or homosexual acts for that matter.

Madonna has a long history of using religious imagery.  In her original tart-covered-with-cheap-baubles incarnation, crosses were a prominent part of the virtual hardware store that hung around her neck.  One of her albums was titled Like a Prayer.  She has staged mock crucifixions as part of her shows.  She claimed once that she wanted to be a nun when she was a little girl.

But Madonna's latest attempt to outrage isn't as outrageous  as it is shameless.  Those protesters she displays are from the Westboro Baptist Church--famous for showing up at funerals and taunting the bereaved.  And they HATE the Catholic Church.  They picket Catholic Churches and call them "whorehouses".

Pop music's crumbling tart has had the nerve to dress like a nun, invoke God in her supposed "faith" in Kabbalah and named her daughter Lourdes.

There's only one thing that gets to people like this:  When the public no longer consumes their auditory waste and stops buying tickets to their concerts.  Madonna fears being irrelevant more than anything else.

And she is irrelevant.  Her "art" contributes nothing to making any of us closer to God.  People like her have tried to harm the Church before and the Church continues to endure.

The Polish people get it.  Their Catholic Youth Crusade is trying to stop a show scheduled for August in Warsaw because it coincides with their day of remembrance for the Warsaw Uprising against the Nazis (Madonna likes to use swastikas too).  In an online petition, the group writes that Madonna "is attacking the Catholic faith... offending Jesus Christ by burning crosses and wearing a crown of thorns."

If your kids are listening to Madonna, here's a great teaching moment.  Use it.  And when you do, be sure to delete the MP3's, throw out the CD's and tear down the posters.  This woman's voice and image deserve no place in any Catholic home.

If enough people stop listening to her musical fecal material, maybe she'll go away.

It's Convenient, Efficient, Inexpensive & Environmentally Sound
AND IT'S WRONG

That little machine is not an iron lung or a hyperbolic chamber.  It's new device that your state and local governments will soon be promoting.  So will your local mortuary.

This chamber is used for "biocremation" or, to be accurate, "Alkaline Hydrolisis."  In this chamber, the body of a deceased person is dissolved into a liquid substance which is drained into the sewage system.

This new process is being used in 23 different countries.  Why, you ask?  They say it is because it emits no carbon dioxide into the atmosphere (environmental reasons).  The real reason is because no one has any care or respect for the bodies of the deceased because fewer and fewer people believe in God.

I'm Catholic.  I believe in God.  And I believe what His Church tells me.  The Code of Canon Law, which remained unchanged from 1917 until 1983, forbade cremation:

Canon 1203: "The bodies of the faithful must be buried, and cremation is reprobated. If anyone has in any manner ordered his body to be cremated, it shall be unlawful to execute his wish."

Canon 1240.5: "Persons who have given orders for the cremation of their bodies are deprived of ecclesiastical burial, unless they have before death given some signs of repentance."

Canon 2339: "Persons who, in violation of the prohibition of Canon 1240, dare to order or force the ecclesiastical burial (of those who are to be deprived of it) incur excommunication ipso facto; and persons who of their own accord give ecclesiastical burial to the above mentioned, incur an interdict from entering a church."

Why did the Church forbid cremation?

Cremation was a pagan practice.  In modern times atheists promoted cremation as a way of showing disbelief in the coming resurrection of the dead.  The Catholic Church teaches that the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, to be treated with profound reverence.

However, in 1983, the Code of Canon Law was amended, giving a conditional permission (but certainly not a recommendation) for cremation:

Canon 1176: "The Church earnestly recommends that the pious custom of burying the bodies of the dead be observed; it does not, however, forbid cremation unless it has been chosen for reasons which are contrary to Christian teaching"

Alkaline Hydrolisis, or turning a deceased body into sewage slime, is an insult to God and an act of defiance to the Catholic Church.  It is also part of the organic development of sacraments for today's newest pagan religion: Environmentalism.

Environmentalism teaches us that the earth is more important than humans.  The earth is worshipped.  Humans are an aberration that threatens the pristine balance of nature and we should stop procreating and not leave any marks upon the earth god that is more important than human lives.

Environmentalism denies the existence of our immortal souls. It denies that God gave us the earth to use and subdue.  It reduces humans to being a burden.  Just like Fascism.

This new method of disposing human remains will become very popular in the coming years.  The State of New York is already drafting a law to re-define cremation to include this process.

For Catholics, this is intolerable.  If we remain silent, this could be imposed upon us as law--it already is a penalty in some countries to bury the dead.

So it's time to decide:  Are you a Catholic or an Environmentalist?

YOU CANNOT VOTE FOR THIS MAN
AND CALL YOURSELF A CATHOLIC

Maybe you were fooled in 2008, when the US Bishops Conference issued their weak proclamation about faithful citizenship.  Maybe you excused yourself in the name of social justice because the mainstream media has you convinced that conservatism is an evil plot of country club executives to keep the poor down in America.  Maybe you wanted to prove you were not a racist by voting for a black man.  Maybe you were just stupid.

There are no more excuses.  You cannot vote for Obama and call yourself a Catholic.  Why?

1)  Obama is the most pro-abortion president in American history.

He ran for president proclaiming his full support of the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA), which would codify the "right" to kill unborn children as the law of the land, require taxpayer funding of abortions, require all hospitals to perform abortions, INCLUDING CATHOLIC HOSPITALS, and worse.

You cannot support a candidate who supports such laws and call yourself a Catholic, because your vote helps make more abortions possible.

2)  Obama supports homosexual marriage.

He came right out and said so.  Marriage is a sacred institution between a man and a woman.  "Gay" people have more rights today and control more of the media's output than at any time in history.  The discrimination argument is bunk.
Marriage exists for the creation and maintenance of families, not so sexual deviants can exercise their carnal desires with legal sanction.

3)  Obama uses fallen-away Catholics to enforce his Culture of Death agenda.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Kathleen Sebelius are both "Catholic" women who support abortion wholeheartedly.  They are also two of Obama's biggest mouthpieces in furthering his policies.  They may attend Mass and sit at the dais with their honored bishops, but it doesn't change their fallen status.  Until they make a sacramental Confession and publicly renounce their support of baby-killing, every Communion they receive is a sacrilege.

4)  Obama is a liar.

Obama said over and over again that the mandate of his Health Care Legislation was not a tax.  So what did he do?  He had his own attorneys argue before the United States Supreme Court that the mandate was permissible because it constituted a tax!

Obama has been spending heavily, broadcasting TV ads that denounce his opponent, Mitt Romney, for outsourcing jobs overseas when he was the head of Bain Capital.  The Washington Post's own ombudsman declared that the accusations are false. That's the ombudsman for one of the most staunchly Democratic newspapers in America.

These are four reasons you cannot vote for Obama and call yourself a Catholic.  They are all based on basic Catholic morality--honesty, fidelity to the Church's teaching, and protection of the unborn.

There are plenty of other reasons not to vote for Obama based on secular concerns.  But if you are a Catholic and the secular world has you convinced that you should vote for him, it's time to choose:  The world, the flesh and the Devil or your sacred faith?
